Exterior Render – Lath and Plaster – Pointing and Mortar Repairs – Lime Wash – Courtyards and Garden Rooms
This extremely effective technology for making ceilings, partition walls and the panels of timber framed houses has endured for hundreds of years.
When time takes its toll, sections of lath can easily be removed and replaced.
New laths of oak, larch or chestnut are installed between the main timbers, and a course mortar pressed between them.
This is allowed to cure, finished with two top coats and completed with a lime wash.
